Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 55 reviews.
The actual divot does not match the picture on the website. However, it’s smaller and a better size for my pocket.
Everything has been great. I’ve used it for six rounds so far. My only suggestion would maybe to include a second ink cartridge for the pen because my pen went empty after only six rounds.
Trust in a brand and good customer service is earned based on how a company reacts when things unexpectedly don't go as planned.
I was mistakenly despatched the wrong journal. When I notified Journal 18 they immediately and apologetically put it right and a replacement sent.
Top marks for looking after your customers. I will be back.
The pen is horrible. Extremely difficult to remove and replace. The rubber snags and I'd never consider using your product, as delivered, on the course.
I found another pen that is much easier to deal with. Looking forward to the new season.
Have been using the journal during my practice days/rounds so far and I’ve found it helpful and advantageous in keeping record of not only my shots throughout the bag but how I’m feeling on those days and how that reflects on my game. Well done guys great product 👏
Whilst it is beautifully presented I have the following issues:
1. The rubber grippy side of the pen make it hard to get it in and out of the holder. I have removed it and it works much better.
2. The J18 Watermark and colour of font on the back pages can make it difficult in some light to read the notes.
The remainder of the product has a lovely premium feel
I found the initial round a little cumbersome and fiddling around to find the relevant pages for my shot recoding was messy. I abandoned the first round recording and stayed with post round analysis.
Suggestion: a page clip similar to those used by book readers to allow the player to access the round recording page quickly would be an improvement and would not waste time on the course. Could replicate the Pitch tool imagery?
