Recently received and looking forward to using my Performance Journal.
Iβve journaled my rounds this past year using only DIY templates and already appreciate how valuable shot tracking is for me. Iβve also began walking most of my rounds as of late, and also realize how walking and journaling my round improves awareness.
Only 3 years into this, Iβm starting to become more focused on recognizing patterns in my game, and improving real-time. Since journaling, it has already helped me enjoy my rounds more and to trust my swing.
The Performance Journal already feels great and looks like an easy, organized way to record each shot in one place for post round reflection.
Bad shots will happenβbut accountability and progress & continued enjoyment seem inevitable.

Great tool and visual aid. Love the planning aspect of each round and ability to detail info that happened during the round. Great quality and fits perfect in my back pocket
Amazing purchase!
As a PGA Professional I recommend this to all amateur golfers not only for keeping stats but more importantly it helps routine and makes sure youβre focused on every shot.

Thank you for choosing Journal 18, and we wish you many more enjoyable rounds ahead!
Love everything about the journal. Lots of good metrics to input and it makes it easy to see trends.
Could use another page or two of club carry distances to have a different set for different conditions or sets of clubs maybe.
Store owner replied:
Doug, thank you for your positive feedback on the Journal 18! We're thrilled to hear that you find it useful for tracking metrics and identifying trends in your game.
Your suggestion for additional pages with club carry distances for different conditions or sets of clubs is a great idea. It would provide even more flexibility and customization options for golfers. We'll certainly consider this for future updates to make the journal even more versatile.
We appreciate your support and hope the Journal 18 continues to enhance your golfing experience. If you have any more thoughts or suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them with us. Happy golfing!
Have used the journal for 8 rounds now and love the process. All of my friends use tracker apps but I hate having to pull my phone out for every shot, not to mention I get enough screen time off track. I take 20 minutes per round to enter my goals, course details and yardages, then just concentrate on each shot. I then log scores and ball landings between each hole and do a 10 minute analysis of the round at home on the patio with a cold beer. Tracking shot location, especially on tracks Iβve played multiple times, has really helped improve my aim and club selection. Highly recommend Journal 18 to anyone that wants a phone free round!
Itβs the perfect size for pockets, it helps a lot with keeping a track of things, pre round review helps right down eveything in mind before a round and just pick out the focus for the round, the after round review lets me see if Iβve done what I wanted to focus on or if thereβs something not going right and I could practice it next time. Overall it helps my game a lot
I got the Journal18 to help me to play better golf by journaling my rounds and to keep track of things that went well and things that I need to do for improvement. This is a great thing that has already helped me to play better golf!
Just started actually trying to take golf more seriously. I really love the ability to show where your shots end up after a round. Once you go through a few rounds your patterns start showing up and you can start to play to your tendencies. I learned that my most often miss was left of the green. I also like the ability to add notes to your round sometimes a basic card doesn't allow you to put a reason for a certain score or shot. I thought it would slow me down taking notes, but it has not slowed my game at all. I love it and will continue to use them.
This journal is fantastic, its the perfect thing i needed to improve my game I am already focusing more and relaxing on the game then before I got it. Amazed how it helps me stop overthinking and just focus on playing. Love it!
My best friend got this for me for Christmas and I love it! Canβt wait to get out on the course and try it out. I was looking for something like this. Itβs high quality and I think itβs a great gift for any golfer who is looking to improve
Amazing book for players to help keep track of stats. This helps their personal development and helps the coach decide what we need to focus on. Thanks Journal 18 ππ¬
Such a great book to track everything from your stats, swing thoughts, notes from your lessons and anything youβre trying to achieve during that next round to improve !
And just tracking your dispersion patterns is super helpful !
Stop waiting and just get yourself one of these and start being more consistent!
I used my journal for the first time last week. I planned out my sessions. One was going on my course in the evening alone to play a few holes and see where things were at. The other was a range session where I took the info I learned playing and practicing on the course and tried to work on parts of my game. More specifically driver, fairway metals and approach shots. Then I was able to summarize both sessions and make notes on what I could do differently. love this process that my new Journal 18 provides me!
The Journal 18 is a total game changer. Everything is laid out for you. For a more focused and detailed round of golf or practice. I have a game plan going into my rounds and staying focused throughout. At the end Iβm able to pinpoint exactly what was working and what I need to work on my next practice. Most important tool in my bag.

The OOB column should be replaced with a Scrambling or Short Game column to track a more meaningful stat. Possibly adopting the Tiger 5 stars or places to note total penalties instead of just OB. In the end itβs the useful analysis of stats that yields insight.
Store owner replied:

We appreciate your insights as they help us improve the Journal 18. If you have more ideas, please share. Your input is greatly valued.
This journal is exactly what I was looking for. It is sleek, professional looking and has most things you need to document your golfing journey.
I would love it if there were:
- A 'journal guide' section at the beginning to explain how to fill it in the way intended.
- More notes or practise pages
- Guides to improve your game, track yardages, and things like that.

Really enjoy using journal 18 throughout my golfing journey. It helps me throughout practice and throughout my rounds!
I love my jardage book and use it for every single round to prepare, to recap after the round and also to look back when going to the same course again.
Very nice tool. Definitely helps to improve your skills.
I really love the insight that this tracker provides. Iβm learning so much about my game and my habits. The only challenge I have is finding time to fill things in during my round without holding things up, but thatβs a me problem. I will continue to use these long into my golf journey!!
I think the journal is great! Itβs helped me already after 3 games to get better perspective and save time practicing areas I need to improve on. I can identify those areas clearly from my results and notes in the journal on course and after game review.
Iβve used it for only a few rounds so far so itβs hard to judge. I like the pre round plan. Iβve used shot tracking in apps before and kind of prefer an app for that to measure distances and trends.
